No one denies technology is bringing a sweeping change with it’s unpredictable nature.

As the media obsesses over tech startups, AI and replacing jobs; we’re keen to take that conversation for a slight detour with five inspiring speakers who present thought-provoking ideas on reimagining communities, education, experiences and food in Singapore.

Here are our speakers:

  • Nithiya Laila, a culinary anthropologist shares about foraging in Singapore and producing her conceptual dining club: Brunch Bandits.

  • Hui Wen Chin, an early childhood educator reimagines education in 2030

  • Marc Nair, a local award winning writer and poet gives us a spoken word performance

  • Stuart Wee, co-founder of Andsoforth talks about producing interactive theatrical feasts immersed around stories, drama and secrets

  • Chris Leow, general manager of Edible Garden City talks about innovation in food waste, building learning gardens and shared cooking spaces; and using urban farming to design, grow and build communities in Singapore

In our next Symposium #3: Intersections with our community partner General Assembly we explore work, play and education as our currency and how Singapore’s community is powering that current.

Join us for an afternoon of bold immersive presentations, listen to people you could disagree with, indulge in our house cocktails with a surprise (or two).
